About Me

Hi!

My name is Raminderpreet Elisa and welcome to my Life Skills Yoga program site.  I first discovered Yoga in 1998. From the very first class I took at UCLA’s World Arts and Cultures Dept., I was curious and inspired by it’s therapeutic qualities. Over the years, this curiosity has led me to explore how this practice provides access to mind/body connections and it’s link to the breath.

During this time, I also found myself increasingly responsible for my parent’s care as their health and mental well-being began to decline. I started to experience overwhelm, feelings of isolation, resentment and guilt over lack of time and energy, among other things. This began to take a toll on my health, which then also threatened my ability to care for my family.

It was all of this that caused me to stop and evaluate how I was handling my life (I wasn’t). I decided to rely on my years of personal yoga practice, academic studies, internships, and work with clients to develop my LIFE SKILLS YOGA program to help guide others in the same situation. I feel I have gained powerful experience, knowledge, and insight, which have proven beneficial to me both as a human being, and as a therapist.

I have been fortunate in my life to do what brings me joy, fulfillment and satisfaction and am eager to share with you the information, tools and processes which can empower anyone to discover the path to living with more energy, clarity, purpose, health and well-being.
